Safety is paramount.
In order to undertake commercial work a company must obtain a PFAW (Permission For Aerial Work) from the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority)with UAV pilot qualification gained through a CAA approved course and examination.
Tim Martin holds BNUC-s pilot certificate BNUC-S 2982 16 08 and is hold the necessary CAA Permission to conduct commercial operations with the aircraft in accordance with strict UK guidelines. Ref: PAndEUAS3217
The pilot must not fly the aircraft in any circumstances described below except in accordance with a permission issued by the CAA:
Beyond a maximum range of 500 metres
At a height exceeding 400ft above ground level.
Over or within 150 metres of a congested area.
Over or within 150 metres of an organised open-air assembly of more than 1000 persons.
Within 50 metres of any vessel, vehicle or structure which is not under control of the pilot in command.
Within 50 metres of any person (not under control of the pilot in command).
Within 30 metres of any person during take off or landing (not under control of the pilot in command).
